The auto-rebuilding capabilities are interesting at first glance. The LCD display on the front makes it easy to identify the current status of the NAS such as hard drive access, LAN conne ctivity, and USB copying status. Thecus claims installation is a breeze with its Smart Utility that helps backup your files and install the NAS with a single click making it very easy to manage the NAS.

This NAS isn’t just for storage, it also has a coveted Download Manager which allows you to download files without having to leave your computer on for hours and hours. If you like downloading from Bittorent, that feature is included. As seen on other NAS products, you can connect IP cameras, USB cameras and turn the NAS into a surveillance server. It is also packed with great multimedia features such as turning the NAS into an iTunes server, a place to manage photos, and even stream media. You can expect this product to be energy efficient and quiet as well.
